The 'Salerno Chronicle': Introduction, Translation and Commentary by Oleg Voskoboynikov. Moscow, 2020.

Professor Oleg Voskoboynikov, a fellow at the Centre for Medieval Studies, translated the anonymous 'Salerno Chronicle', which was composed in Salerno in the late tenth century. This is a really interesting historical text, written in a form of Latin close to the spoken language of the Southern-Italian 'Lombards', living in the territories of contemporary Campania, Puglia and Calabria. This is the first full translation of the chronicle into any contemporary language; the edition is provided with a historical commentary and a detailed introduction.
